JOB ROLES
Project Namaste was started with an intent to showcase the huge cultural diversity we
Indians live in. The project is an initiative to a rich cross-cultural exchange within the university.
Thus, the job roles have been assigned keeping these facts in mind.
EP induction and conference, welcome ceremony and ice-breaking activities, with fellow interns and students on campus !
Going for NGO visits, as well as visiting other organizations and culturalcenters for understanding local social and economic reality. Interns will also be instrumental in documenting these visits through he medium of phtography, videography or any other creative channels. Example: Gandhi Ashram visit, local NGOs.
Actively participation and organizing events within Project Namaste and the LC.
Example:Global Village, Model United Nations, etc.
Travelling in and around the city of Ahmedabad to places of cultural interest,gastronomic prominence, and heritage sites.
Example: Ahmedabad Heritage Walk, Modhera Sun Temple, etc
Collaborating with student run clubs to engage in and actively conduct workshops aiming at understanding of the interns’ culture as well as the Indian culture in order to increase global awareness among the fellow interns, students of the University and Faculty.
Plan and execute a Talent Showcase for the closing ceremony
